Working women tent to get exposed to Sun during summer and all the time. Sometimes, inspite of using sunscreen lotion, you get tanned. Relax and chill with these tips and face packs which will do wonders to your skin.

Yogurt Face Pack : Make a paste of yogurt and besan (gram flour). Add more yogurt if required, apply the pack on face and neck and leave it for 20 minutes. Clean it with normal waterSandalwood Face Pack: Make a paste of sandalwood (chandan) and rose water (gulab jal). Apply to face and neck, leave it overnight. In morning clean it with cold water

Cucumber Face Pack: Mix cucumber paste with milk. You can also use cucumber juice. Apply to face and neck. After 15 minutes wash off with cold water

Multani Mitti Pack: Make a paste of rose water and multani mitti. Apply thick layer of paste to face. After 15 minutes clean it with normal water

Mix the juices of cucumber and tomato, apply all over the face and neck. This can be applied under eyes to prevent and reduce dark circles.

Rubbing used lemons on feet and elbow helps in lighten the dark skin and remove the dead skin

Getting a spa facial is good for your peace of mind as well as your well-being. Facials are one of the most common treatments you can get when you are visiting a spa. What if you can’t afford a trip to the spa but still want that glow from within that spa style facials can give you? Your beautiful skin needs to cleanse, moist and supple, and facials give you just that. When you can’t afford a spa facial, why not follow the 6 steps below and give yourself a facial today.

6 steps to most facials are:
Relax, cleansing, exfoliating, mask, and then rehydrating (meaning moisturizing).After you gotten everything together that you want to be using for your facial, start off with:

Step 1~ The very first thing you need to do is get yourself relaxed. One way is to start off your facial with draping over your face a warm (not hot) damp towel. Leave it on till it cools or about a minute.

Step 2~ Take your favorite cleanser and warm it up in your hands. Then use gentle, circular motions when applying it. Wipe it off with a warm wet towel.

Step 3~ Exfoliate by applying a gentle scrub to your face. Make sure it’s a fine grain scrub not one that’s too rough for your skin. In fact its better to use a fine grain scrub once a week than a rough one every now and then. Facial scrubs help get rid of dry skin, dead skin cells and helps your skin renew itself. Gently remove the scrub with warm water.

Step 4~ You may want to practice this before starting your facial. Giving yourself a facial massage. Start by tapping your fingers lightly along your forehead. Now gently pinch your eyebrows along the brow line, then press your fingers along the bottom of your cheekbone. Now rub along your jaw line in a circular motion. Press your fingers along your cheekbone from your nose to your ear. Then press your fingers up and down the back of your neck, then using a circular motion, massage your scalp from your forehead to the top of your head.

Step 5~ It’s time for your mask. Gently apply whatever you decided to use as your mask. You can make your own or buy one that is organic/naturally handcrafted just right for your skin. Why not place cotton balls soaked in cool water or cucumber slivers over your eyes while you lay back and relax for a 10 to 15 minute break?

Rinse off your mask, and onto the last step.

Step 6~ Now its time to rehydrate your skin by smoothing on your favorite organic/naturally created moisturizer cream or lotion.

Face masks made of fruits is beneficial in many ways, as it can cleanse your skin and make it softer and more elastic.

Fruits assist in the production of skin protein called collagen and speed up the metabolism of underlying layers of skin.Apart from saving you money, homemade face masks using fruits contain higher concentrations of antioxidants than those available in stores. Here are a few fruit face mask recipes you can try in the comfort of your home.

Apple mask

Ingredients: 1 apple, 2 tablespoons of honey, ½ teaspoon of sage

Preparation: Chop up apple and place it in a bowl. Add honey and sage to chopped apple. Refrigerate the ingredients for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, lightly pat the mixture onto your face until the honey feels sticky. Allow it to settle for about 30 minutes and then rinse your face with warm water.

Strawberry mask

Ingredients required: ¼ cup cornstarch, ½ cup extremely ripen strawberries

Preparation: Mix strawberries and cornstarch well to make a thick paste. Apply this mixture to your face. Allow it to settle for 30 minutes and then rinse it thoroughly with cool water.

Papaya face mask

Ingredients: ¼ cup of ripe papaya, 1 ½ teaspoons of Aloe Vera gel, and 4 teaspoons of green cosmetic clay

Preparation: Make a puree of ripe papaya fruit. Add clay and Aloe Vera gel to the papaya puree. Spread the mixture evenly over your face and neck regions. Allow it to settle on your skin for 20 minutes and rinse with cool water.

Pineapple face mask

Pineapple contains excellent enzymes that help your skin to eliminate dead skin cells. It also cleanses impurities in the pores of your skin.

Ingredients: 2 teaspoons chopped pineapple, 3 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil

Preparation: Blend both the ingredients well using a blender. Apply the mixture evenly to your face including neck regions. Leave it on your skin for about 15 minutes before you rinse it with warm water.

Anti-aging peach face mask

Ingredients: 2 medium-sized peaches, 2 tablespoons whipped cream

Preparation: Peel the outer layer of peaches and mash them well. Add whipped cream to mashed peaches. Apply it to your face and allow 20 minutes for the mask to settle and thereafter rinse your face with lukewarm water.
